We offer completely independent advice on all aspects of
architectural lighting design. This can be a full package from
concept to completion or advice on a specific issue. We are
specialists in the use of new technologies such as fibre optics and
leds.
Lighting Design
Initial brief, concept work, scheme evaluation, detailed design,
commissioning.
Nightscapes
City beautification, town centres, urban lighting policies, light
pollution, security/visual
recognition, anti-vandal measures.
Conservation
Heritage work, conservation of fabrics/paintings relating to
UV/IR/daylight. Particular
requirements of art galleries and museums. Evaluation of light
sources to find the most appropriate for the exhibits.
Energy
Energy strategies, meeting the requirements of Part L, Site surveys
and energy reviews.
Accessibility
Advice on lighting for people with particular needs such as the
elderly, partially sighted,
impaired colour vision, special needs schools.
Product Evaluation
Advice on product design, suitability for application,
modifications/improvements, competitor comparisons
