PPP & PFI

DfL has experience of many aspects of Street Lighting PFI / PPP contracts. In particular, we act as an Independent Certifier and Technical Advisor. We also we offer advice on tender documents, Codes of Practice, contract evaluation and due diligence.

Independent Certifier
DfL are the Independent Certifier for the London Boroughs of Barnet & Enfield Street Lighting PFI projects. This is a 5 year contract which involves extensive inspection and certification of every aspect of the CIP phase of the PFI.

Technical Advisor
DfL are providing technical advice to a local authority considering a 25 year PPP contract approach to its Street Lighting.

Design
DfL are acting as a Design and Technical Advisor to a contractor for a major PFI project. We also offer a complete service for the design of the street lighting layout, cable network, feeder pillars and distribution boards.

Due Diligence
DfL (as sub-consultants) are providing Technical Design input to the Due Diligence for a potential funder to a PFI Street Lighting.

Inventory Verification Audit
DfL are undertaking an independant audit for authorities to verify the quality of the street lighting inventory.
