Designs for Lighting have joined the HEA

Posted July 13, 2017

Designs for Lighting have recently joined the Highways Electrical Association (HEA) to gain direct representation in the highways electrical sector and also access to their technical advice documents and training initiatives. This is a natural progression, from DfL’s long association with the HEA, having been part of their competency registration scheme for many years and presenting talks regularly at the associations’ seminar and CPD events.

As a trade association HEA provides many opportunities for networking and working in closer collaboration with the highways electrical sector.

Alistair Scott, Managing Director of DfL comments ‘‘Although we have been part of the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) for many years, we have taken the natural step to become more involved with the HEA to forge an even stronger presence in this important sector of our business, and to ensure that our designers maintain the highest levels of competency through ongoing training.’’
