DfL Exhibiting and Speaking at HEN on the Road

DfL pave the way for ‘Highway Lighting in the future’ at HEN on the Road 12th March.

We’re excited to be a part of this HEA technical conference next week in Chester-le-Street County Durham. DfL’s Managing Director Alistair Scott will join Kevin Dugdale to present a paper ‘A Review of Smart Cities and a look at Highway Lighting in the future.’

As Chair ILP North Eastern Region Kevin Dugdale will be welcoming all delegates and will be introducing the afternoon session.

Smart Cities have been touted as a concept for years, but we are none the wiser as to what constitutes a smart city. There are plenty of Smart Lighting solutions, some of which are not very smart!

Our presentation will review the existing smart city case studies and highlight some of the challenges and opportunities that creating a Smart City presents for the Highway Electrical sector.

We will also look into the future of Street Lighting as it gears up to the Smart City and be on hand to answer any questions.

Please register with the HEA and come along to the presentation at 11.05am at the Riverside Lounge Durham County Cricket Club.

When in the exhibition, please also find some time to come and chat with us at our exhibition stand and learn more about our services or carry on the discussion about Smart Cities!
